Press release: AERQ earns AS/EN 9100 standard certification
Hamburg, 14 March 2023 – AERQ has received the AS/EN 9100 standard certification for their quality systems and their consistently demonstrated compliance to the highest aerospace specific quality standard. This certification will now enable AERQ to design and develop more products that will shape the aerospace industry and open possibilities to participate in new projects.
The AS/EN 9100 is an industry specific yet globally harmonised standard, which certifies that all quality management system requirements for aviation, space and defence organisations are met. It was developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group to ensure certified companies’ products are safe and reliable for use in the aviation, space, and defence industry. The requirements concern the categories development, production, and sales. The certification is based upon months of preparation, which culminates in an extensive third-party audit.
