Hamburg, 31 May 2023 – Geven, a leading manufacturer of aircraft seating and interiors, and AERQ, a new provider for digital cabin solutions, are collaborating on the integration of AERQ’s AERENA Inseat System into Geven's Essenza seat to combine state-of-the-art seating comfort and digital inflight technology. The outcome of this collaboration will be displayed at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2023 in Hamburg from 06-08 June.
Geven has decades of experience in designing and building passenger seating products ranging from economy to business class as well as interior monuments such as galleys and lavatories. AERQ's AERENA platform addresses airlines' today’s pain points by allowing quick media content updates, adaptations of the UI and delivery of applications within days. It also enhances passenger devices to an integral part of the experience and supports multiple digital use cases. Bluetooth pairing helps to create an upscale entertainment for the passengers. Additionally, the inseat system offers a brilliant 4K viewing experience.
Airlines benefit from easy installation and maintenance processes due to the extensive local storage the inseat system provides. It is designed for maximum ease of handling.
