Hamburg, 11. November 2020 – AERQ will be attending the FTE APEX Virtual Expo from 8-9 December 2020. It is the first time the joint venture between LG Electronics and Lufthansa Technik, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, will be presenting its portfolio at a trade show. The FTE APEX Virtual Expo replaces the global in-person events that the organizations Future Travel Experience (FTE) and Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) had planned for the second half of 2020. You can join AERQ at its digital booth and conference session. AERQ’s platform enables airlines to profit from the growth possibilities connected with digitalization by meeting the rapidly changing demands of their passengers’ expectations. Hardware, software and data solutions connect the dots between passengers, crew and developers. Airlines gain control over all digital touchpoints, get a choice in look & feel, use cases and applications in order to create a competitive edge. “It is a challenging time for our industry. We believe that it can be an opportunity, too. As AERQ we strive to provide airlines with solutions that allow them to tap into new business models, drive ancillary revenues and generate operational efficiencies. All those topics have become even more important due to the COVID-19 situation,” said Arnd Kikker, Managing Director at AERQ.
“Airlines know best what they need to be successful. Which is why we want the airlines to be the playmaker for their passengers’ cabin experience and the owner of digital passenger data. We invite attendees and journalists of the FTE APEX Virtual Expo to network and discuss with us about digitalization of the aircraft cabin and passenger’s experience at the conference session or via messaging and video calls,” said Sang Soo Lee, Managing Director at AERQ.

AERQ is a joint venture between LG Electronics and Lufthansa Technik. It was founded in June 2019 and is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. With its roots in consumer electronics and aviation it uses the extensive knowledge from both parent companies to develop digital solutions for aircraft cabins. AERQ takes the digital transformation of the aircraft cabin to a new level by turning them into spaces for new ideas and business development. AERQ enables airlines to digitalise their aircraft cabins by providing a new kind of digital ecosystem in and around the aircraft fueled by software, hardware and data.
